AT HOME: STYLISH LIVING EDIT
In the current time of austerity, people are un-apologetically spending a small fortune on their humble abodes. These days it has become increasingly popular to commission creative consultants to transform every aspect of the home. Not content with rearranging furniture, it has become the norm to meticulously craft genius spaces that create clean lines and the perfect light. It is hard to imagine a time when avocado bathrooms, spiral staircases and chintz were in vogue, these tired ways of tweaking a house have paved the way for vivid colours and industrial looks, singular aesthetics are continually becoming bolder with each year that passes. A passion for playing with patterns is unpretentious and streamlined and produces a real emerging talent for transforming even the most dark or dingy spaces.
Bolder is all most certainly better within the renovation arena, with people opting for a huge range of styles such a modernist white, glass fronted to timber frames or stunning Shepherd hut offices within the garden. It really is an exciting time to own a property
Here in Sussex, there is a plethora of designers, championing every area of planning within the home and garden. With ever increasing boutiques producing quality home ware such as linen, ceramics and handmade furniture we really are spoilt for choice.
This month The Sussex Splendour has scoured the Sussex countryside to find some exciting home inspired businesses to ensure that any renovation project exudes quality and design.

"Sussex huts, based in Wisborough Green we make beautiful, handmade, traditionally styled shepherd huts with modern luxuries. These days its common to see a shepherds hut as a home office or a guest bedroom and we love that. Every hut is made to order which enables us to include a little bit of each customers personality into the building itself. We’ve made guest bedrooms, drum studios, therapy rooms, home offices, writing studios, glamping accommodation and even a model making workshop. The plus side of being fully mobile, if you move home the hut comes too!
