GETTING THE BASICS RIGHT: THE FOUNDATION EDIT
These days everyone is taking more of an interest in their appearance. With online make up tutorials becoming the norm, people are using make up artists less and less and attempting these amazing looks by themselves. Getting the foundation right may appear to be an easy task, but with hundreds of foundations on the market, it can be tricky to navigate your way to perfecting the perfect base. There are so many factors to think about, from skin type to coverage, or something as simple as a dewy daytime look to full coverage night time glamour.
When looking for a new foundation, you should always pick three foundation shades closest to your colouring, swipe them over your arm and pick the one that blends in to your skin tone. Alternatively if you aren’t comfortable doing this, ask the make up brand ambassador behind the counter as they are there to help.
Here at The Sussex Splendour HQ, we have whittled out our favourite top five liquid foundations.
